Support Dreamscape Community Connections
Dreamscape Community Connectionshrl is being developed carefully and responsibly, with accessibility, safeguarding, and long-term sustainability at its heart.
Support helps make this possible — not by rushing the project, but by allowing it to grow ethically, transparently, and in line with real community need.
There is no expectation to support financially in order to belong.
Support is always optional, and always appreciated.
Why support matters
Creating calm, community-led spaces takes time, care, and thoughtful planning.
Support helps Dreamscape Community Connections grow in a way that is sustainable, responsible, and aligned with our values — without rushing or placing pressure on the people who attend.
Contributions help make it possible to:
- keep meet-ups and community sessions free or low-cost, so money is not a barrier to connection
- cover venue hire and basic running costs for in-person gatherings
- provide simple materials for sessions, such as creative or grounding resources
- support safeguarding preparation, governance, and safe community practices
- plan carefully for a future physical space, when the time is right
Support allows decisions to be made slowly and intentionally, rather than reactively or under financial pressure.
It also helps ensure that Dreamscape remains a gentle, welcoming space — where people can attend without obligation, expectation, or the feeling that they must give something in return.
Every contribution supports access, sustainability, and care — not profit.help re
How support is used
-
Support helps Dreamscape Community Connections grow in a thoughtful, responsible way — prioritising safety, accessibility, and long-term sustainability over speed or scale.
Rather than rushing to open or expand, support allows decisions to be made slowly and intentionally, within capacity, and with care for both the community and the people holding the space.
It also helps ensure that meet-ups and sessions can remain free or low-cost, so access is not limited by finances.
-
Early Development
Support contributes to the careful early development of Dreamscape Community Connections, ensuring strong foundations before any future physical hub is opened.
This includes:
- early project planning and development
- shaping activities and meet-ups based on lived experience and community input
- accessibility considerations informed by real, day-to-day needs
- safeguarding planning and boundary setting
- practical setup work needed to deliver sessions responsibly and ethically
- preparation for a future physical hub, including research, feasibility planning, and ensuring any space is safe, accessible, and sustainable before opening
Early development focuses on doing things carefully and sustainably — building something that can grow gently over time, rather than quickly or under pressure.
-
Training & Life Skills
Support helps cover essential training and life skills development so that Dreamscape Community Connections is developed and held safely, responsibly, and with care for everyone involved.
This may include:
- safeguarding awareness and safe community practice
- accessibility awareness and inclusive approaches
- trauma-informed and low-pressure community spaces
- first aid and basic safety awareness
- boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical community care
- everyday life skills that support confidence, independence, and participation within community spaces
Where appropriate, training and life skills support may be outsourced to suitable third-party providers with relevant experience, qualifications, or specialist knowledge.
Training and life skills support are approached proportionately and thoughtfully, in line with Dreamscape’s non-clinical, community-led purpose.
They support safety, accessibility, confidence, and appropriate boundaries — not clinical or therapeutic provision.
Needs may evolve over time as the project grows, capacity develops, and community needs become clearer.
-
Online Connection
Support also helps maintain Dreamscape’s online spaces, offering gentle ways for people to connect beyond in-person meet-ups.
This includes:
- hosting and maintaining online community platforms
- creating low-pressure online connection opportunities
- providing clear information about activities, boundaries, and expectations
- offering flexible ways to stay connected for those unable to attend in person
Online spaces are designed to complement in-person meet-ups and to offer connection without pressure, obligation, or expectation to participate in a particular way.
Support helps prepare the ground for a future physical hub — while keeping connection accessible and gentle right now.
Support is optional.
Belonging is not conditional.
